NTPC Vindhyachal celebrated the successful completion of the Initial Operation of Unit-12 on April 28, 2024. This achievement marks a significant milestone in Vindhyachal's journey towards operational excellence and environmental sustainability.

The Initial Operation of Unit-12, which commenced at 1905 Hrs on April 28, involved the seamless integration and continuous operation of the entire integrated system. Notably, the unit ran smoothly for 72 hours at full load following the 100% closing of the bi-plane damper, showcasing the team's capability to manage complex systems efficiently.

Vindhyachal known for its commitment to environmental stewardship, is currently constructing eight Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) units, with Unit-12 being the first to successfully complete the Initial Operation. This accomplishment reflects Vindhyachal's dedication to meeting stringent environmental standards while ensuring uninterrupted power supply.

The event commemorating this achievement was attended by key dignitaries, including Shri E Satya Phani Kumar, Executive Director (Vindhyachal), Shri Partha Nag, General Manager (Operation), Shri Atin Kundu, General Manager (Project), Shri Sujay Karmakar, GM (Green Chemical), Shri Rakesh Arora, Head of HR, and senior officials. Their presence underscored the significance of Unit-12's successful operation and the collaborative effort of the entire team.
